The number of people who use their phones while using the urinal is staggering and insane. What could be so urgent? I truly don't understand this

While I totally agree, I have a teen that is so addicted to his phone that we have a rule in our home that i don’t want to EVER see it.

If he wants to look at it, he must excuse himself from the dinner table. Same if we have houseguests.

Its been refreshing when we have family time that everyone stays off their phones

It took a bit and you have to be prepared to have an agreed upon consequence and stick to it.

We just discussed it, agreed on a consequence and we all signed it.

That’s the rule we have in our household. Doesn’t work with the mother-in-law, though.
