These are crucial data to take in consideration when you check where/if you should post, also looking long term.

I would try to not be too tribal about it; X is good competion, #nostr will be better for it, and if there is a problem #nostr can't overcome, another will replace it.

Joe, my man, you know we're friends, so I'm going to give it to you the only way I know how, the truth. If I look at your Twitter feed and compare it to your Nostr feed, it seems to me that you're all in on Twitter. You go days without posting on Nostr. And I get that. Most of your audience is on Twitter. You're trying to make a living. Your comparison isn't fair though. Of course you made more on Twitter. You post there daily. You sometimes go days without posting on Nostr. This makes sense. I could make the same post but say the opposite thing. I don't get any money from Twitter, but I do from Nostr. I also don't post on Twitter, of course I'd make more where the majority of my efforts go.
Anyways, keep up th great work. Almost no one wants boring macro talk. Telling conversations of people and their lives on the ground is what makes your content special. You're doing great work and you deserve every single sat that you get. I hope to see you in Prague.
Completely agree with everything Derek says, and would add one incremental point.
This is also a micro case study of the broader fiat system v. sound money.
The fiat system, for a very long time (in my opinion, probably a magnitude longer than most here think), will be able to โpayโ you to participate in it. It will be up to each individual to determine (1) where their time and energy are best rewarded and (2) in which savings vehicle they then place their excess time and energy.
For Joe (and many others, almost everyone) it is still much more lucrative to mine in fiat and save in Bitcoin. Twitter is just one example of this.
Of course, this it will change over time.
The free market is also difficult, no one said it would be easy but it is necessary ๐ซก

Understandable. You donโt really engage with anyone on Nostr. I will see a random post from you every now and then, but when I look at your replies to people itโs empty. You make good content, but you have to at least try to have a conversation with people. Also. The money you get from Twitter is because they are selling ads against you and your content.
