This Wired article is a good example of how writing an article of a given topic becomes little more than turning it into the political mouth piece for the author: pigeonholing and ripping on what he doesn't like and promoting what he does, by a process of cherry picking the examples to make his point.
Of course, the publication Wired is a bastardization of its former, iconic 1990s self, now chock full of political bias that's dictated from the New York Condé Nast newsroom.
