If we had never had inflation, would we have got to that point?
The only way we wouldn't have an increase in the money supply is if something like Bitcoin existed.
Gold couldn't accomplish it because of various obvious factors.
So it's like asking me if humans never existed would money ever have been invented?
Money, withing itself, is a technological advancement.
