I can see why devs would hope for the opposite.
It’s like saying I hope Bitcoin never goes mainstream, people need free speech and good money
I mean they’re both there for anyone who wants Bitcoin or Nostr. Just most don’t want to do the work or deviate from the norm. Both protocols are for anyone, but not everyone.
