To descibe latent space another way, i will provide a brief example of how I imagine what my brain is doing if say, I loose the capacity to move my leg from a physically traumatic event. In the case that my leg becomes to recover, say, I was able to wiggle my toe. The before and after of this event was my brain working out where the latent space existed such that I could move my toe. In this case it was my brain trying to manipulate the physical environment using the data available, and organize it in such a way that allows movements in latent space with a single knob.
