I see SO MUCH working around platform censorship on legacy media, so much “do it this way or our group will get shut down” … it really makes me sad.
I try to talk about Nostr and almost no one engages.
Shout out to you for trying. I’m not sure what it will take. I have some ideas but I really hesitate with this subject because I don’t want to mess anything up. It’s too important.

Most of them probably don't care because what they want is the reach offered by Twitter. Nostr isn't anywhere close to that yet.
They take the censorship because they're addicted to the drama.

Most of my friends never even transitioned to Instagram from Facebook, which is wild to me. I also got into Twitter and TikTok. Same problems come up just in different flavors.
Nostr is a lot less easy, but the benefits seem obvious. When I bring it up to them they literally just roll their eyes. But also will complain about how enraged they are about things that are not real issues, like I want to shake them and shout that they're being brainwashed!
Everyone has what they deserve. If you have studied bitcoin you know that nostr exists and sooner or later you will get there. Just like I did
I guess we see things differently. I don’t expect people to be psychic and go looking for something that they don’t know exists.
But not even bitcoin many people know that it exists. Whose fault is it? I would say about the people themselves who don't want to go deeper and understand what it is 🤷♂️

It can be. If you want to leave your children something of value you have to apply yourself and understand how the system works. If not, you make them grow slaves
The same system that you are discussing has folks globally too busy trying to survive to stop and question who, what, where, when or why? It’s not their fault. It’s the whole point.
On a brighter note, I think that cashapp is a good gateway to bitcoin because it offers bitcoin where people are using a tool to survive and just make it through the day. They have tools and education about but where people are already.
