Many clients respect user reports and will adjust content and timelines accordingly. https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/56.md

I've reported bots and the relays do nothing. Mostly the free relays. Paid relays seems to not have bots

One report doesn't do much. Multiple reports by people in your WoT will hide (or blur) reported content in some clients.
