So I’ve seen people ask for them for Nostr Report for things like “Meme of the Day”. What are the downsides to doing this?
Nothing. Early adoption fun. Worth what we pay. Just evolving space🤙
Maybe the focus changing from posting interesting facts/news by users to posting memes, just to for the chance of receiving the badge as an award. Other than that, seems like great memorabilia💜
Yea, I was thinking for people contributing to the report (submitting stories, meme of the day, quote of the day) etc. I just don’t want it to turn into a stupid shitcoin.
Oh yea a badge for contributions to the report 💯 I think that would a good selling point for it
If you created one for each category, then I’d be definitely for it. Would be one of the more “valuable” badges for sure 💜
The only downside I can think of, is that lets say you give somebody a badge and they start rocking it on their profile. Then let’s say couple of months later, they end up spewing really extreme “content” which you don’t agree with at all, but your badge may falsely represent that you support it.

They want a badge everyday for a meme 😅 I mean if that’s what they want as long as it’s given freely and people don’t have to trade their time/sats for it
