Yes, maybe some academics but they don't have the solution. They can only acknowledge the problem exists.
It's so frustrating talking to academics... they clearly see the problems and get so damn close to the answer. If you bring up bitcoin fundamental economic concepts they agree. But as soon as you say the B word, they close up and immediately wring their hands claiming there's no solution. It's like their egos are too big. Easy to say others are fucking it up but not enough balls to do the simple things that need to be done.
I dont talk to academics, juat not around them much anymore. Can't say I miss them.
Think of the most average person you know then realize that half of all people are lower IQ than that average person.
Scary reality
I think it's just few people have conquered their fears and have the fortitude to face difficult issues. I can only get through about 5 minutes of discussing the problem before people shut down from fear. It's too much for them to handle so you can't get very far.
It will take time for most people to build up the courage to take responsibility.
This is a good point. Most people choose tobury their heads in the sand over facing difficult realities.
The crazy thing is the solution here is simple and easy for every individual. If everyone just got their hands on some sats, the rest of the dominos would immediately stsrt falling into place.
Fix the money and the world will fix itself.
