How often do you get new chicks?
Every 3 years, but these are a broody breed, so hopefully this will be the last chicks for a while, I will switch out the rooster though. I don’t want any inbreeding

It probably will be good to do it every year. I know some people who keep chickens and we will rooster swap.

So the female he mates with the first year (not his kid), that only works once?
I’m no expert but I think you run into problems when you fuck your kids 😂
