Why tweet "No one is above the law"? Why go out of your way to say you won't pardon your son? That's why it's a bigger deal than it would be. He does have dementia, so I will cut him some slack; he doesn't remember tweeting or saying he won't pardon his son. I forgive him.

Right. He's a comatose dementia patient being kept alive in the White House basement, and he's also the most devious and clever political operative who's able to act with impunity without leaving a shred of evidence to substantiate his detractor's manufactured suspicions. 🙄

If you read his formal announcement via the White House, he clearly states that he is doing this despite saying he never would. He is completely aware what he previously said and even explains why he changed his mind.
