every big inflation cycle ends with a decent war. Then you blame the debasement of the currency on the war and do a currency reform or some other crap that makes the money gooder again.

Of course this is what you do, but it's the biggest example of the state being evil, and everyone just goes along with it because they're bored or something.

The underlying monetary issues are most likely the primary drivers, but I believe wars also serve to meet other pent up societal "needs", such as the need for meaning, the need for many people to take part in a titanic struggle and belong to a team.

It's a mind virus. We are outliers, I think.

Is now time to disappear somewhere out of the way?

good question... how to know when it is time to get away...i thougt about it a lot, but did not find an answer yet...

Before they close the borders is usually the best time

that is for sure ^^ i have read somewhere that in ww1 you had around a week to get away... for ww2 this timeframe already reduced to two days... from german perspective... one strong indicator telling me that its time to leave would be that they come for my guns...

During COVID they did lock down pretty quick but people had time to move, perhaps this time would be faster.

Only, this time it won’t just be the Falklands…
