Can't wait to see how it turns out to be. Notifications have always been the only meh in noStrudel.
Looking forward to it! What's the process for updating if one is using the docker container to self host?
If your using the docker container you can use the tags like @0.39 to get a specific version or @next to pull the latest
There are a bunch of tags but github does not provide a good UI for browsing them https://github.com/hzrd149/nostrudel/pkgs/container/nostrudel
just checked the "next" version and i can't believe it but inbox now correctly shows the time when messages arrived - good job Hzrd !
now if only somebody would explain to me what these foolish color outlines around avatars are meant to represent.
or better yet just replace them with black ones.
went back to regular ( non next ) version.
those color outlines are insufferable.
it's like having some black guy with a bluetooth boombox next to you blaring shitty ass rap music while you just want some peace.
whatever you're trying to accomplish with those outlines it's the wrong way to do it.
how would you feel if i decorated you like a Christmas tree and forced you to walk around looking like a fucking clown ?
that's what you're doing to people's avatars with those outlines.
