It's hard to convey how cool and through reticulum.network is.
This is what a non tcpip network should have been. Private/Public key based IDs. Routes everything through any pipes. Mind blown.

Wen Reticulum.Review?
I know we are now debating solutions for DNS, but the real boss is IP.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Imagine you have been trying to point attention to reticulum and what can be done on top of it for a year and some just catching up lmao! ☠️
Always has been 🌎🔫🧑🚀
Dimi was one of such plebs who found it out way earlier !
nothing exists until nostr elite discover it 🤣
It’s not about nostr elites! There are just a lot of things that being developed and discovered by plebs but “OG” are just waking up when they been pinged by plebs and ignored after years! I’m more bullish on plebs than on the current OGs ! You heard it first! 😏
How ironic that you can not see that what you say also applies to Bitcoin and Monero...
I heard about this from glhf☘️ earlier this year. Didn't look into it yet
LXMF and nostr are different approaches to the same problem
All nostr clients (so far) leak data between the client and the first relay.
Glad to see some more dev-types getting into it.
Try setting up a node with a node, offline. 🤯
Reading the doc this is bonkers wild.
how does it find peers from a pubkey?
This is interesting! Just started skimming. I will be looking into it more in the morning.
I have installed the sideband app, but I don't know how to connect to anyone. I have announced myself to the network, but I don't see any peers whatsoever. I also don't know what is my address to try to reach it manually.
I am connected to the normal internet so I assumed it would find that way, but apparently nothing happened.
do you have an address I can try to open a conversation to?
Yo

Would be nice to get good hardware suggestions, not just the promoted ones which barely have range
Amazing. All of this low level development feels like the beginning of a legitimate Web 3.0.
If we could get an interface that would let a traditional web or app developer to build their site once, and then deploy it to the traditional web, on Nostr rails, on Reticulum, etc. THAT would be the true killer app.
