At the risk of sounding like a dumbass... 😅what does Platonism or Gnosticism have to do with trans ideology?
Both teach something along the lines that the real you is an intangible soul that has existence separate from your body. And so, there is a sort of fundamental injustice in the physical world, that it has sort of entrapped the "real you".

It's transhumanism if you extend it out to it's logical conclusion.
With gender they identify what sane people would call the Anima or Animus of the Soul, every Human has a male and female part of the soul.
But they deny the soul at all because of scientism, a materialist cult build around marxism.
They then project the confused soul on their physical body, and try to adapt to it.
Sprinkle a little natural selection, self castration and gnosticism on it and there you have it.
They were lead to believe that their body was less than perfect.
Many of us have been, although not to the same extent.
Your body is the perfect vessel to have your chosen experience in.
