Iโ€™m in the company of car enthusiasts. Clients of mine whom Iโ€™ve become good friends with. One of the things they warned me prior to entering the US market is to beware of serial-suers. Random people literally sue you for random shit here.

One of them told me a story of a visually impaired serial-suer who tried to get him for not having a website thatโ€™s accessible. I laughed but he was serious.

So.. Sue me for malicious reasons and I will show no mercy. You will be more impaired than what you started with.

Going to sue you for this post. ๐Ÿคฃ

I hope you love your body parts and your money. ๐Ÿ˜„

I'll hide up a tree ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Worrier spirit.

Try to touch me attitude.

๐Ÿ’ฏ true. American society but SoCal in particular will do anything to pass the blame to someone else. We are taught to get everything you can at someone elseโ€™s expense, and pass the responsibility to anyone in arms reach. This is 90% of the people I interact with.

I learned early on to be mindful of who I invite to my home, offer a ride in my car. Some people who might consider you a friend could (and sometimes does) sue you bc they know you're insured.

Imagine your giving a "friend" a ride home. You get into an accident. No one is hurt.

But you have (great) insurance. So your "friend" sues you bc maybe they suspect you have a large policy and so he will likely get a settlement. At your expense even if you are insured.

This actually happened to a family member.

๐Ÿ‘€ That is wild.

I take it insurance fraud is also quite common.

Youโ€™re obviously aware that the UK has different laws so lawsuits not that common?

I'm not sure what my post has to do with the UK? I also do business there.

Cuz you used to live in ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡งLondon and merely pointing out that they have many less people filing lawsuits in UK.
