These, a basil plant, a tomato plant, and a sack of semolina, with some olive oil that still smells like olive… some kosher flake salt…and i’m good for a long time.

You make pasta?

I used to work for a man from the middle east who had a pretty well known restaurant in Seattle, right on Green Lake. i would go in on Sunday when he was closed and make the fresh pasta.

Got pretty good at it after a while. Half durham wheat, half semolina…
