Well up until now it's been big pharma that has controlled the prices for the US.

How has that worked out? We're paying 10 times what anyone else is.

I don't have the answer, and I haven't taken prescriptions in 40 years, but it's either force prices lower or remove patent and legal protections from big pharma.

Or something else, and I don't know what.

But our society right now is owned by Big Pharma.

I hate government solutions as much as anyone, but it's also not helpful to say, "This won't work!"
