XMR is truly decentralized.

- No PR person

- No one to pay influencers, media or add agencies.

- No one holding a majority.

- No one funding or holding the control.

- No one to show you the amazing performance of XMR.

- No one to give you an easy on-ramp.

Monero is for the DYOR guy/girl, who do not fall for flatter, media and hype. But, wants concrete evidence and basic principles checked, before committing anything.

The only new adoption to XMR is your P2P marketing effort as a community member.

That's most likely true but we have no idea because it's private. 😉

Also The early emission was also substantial and wish it was over a longer period but this is not unique to xmr either

Here's hoping more people will integrate it too, that would really make it take off. But I'm guessing it's not the kind of token to care.

I'm not enough into the dev side. I beleive that podcasts like nostr:nprofile1qqsqe5q08p3g78h3x4epm7fajkz2gremkt858a5dxq0sy8wkx8r5l2cpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmq3s6fdd tries the keep the community informed and still tries to keep the devs pseudomized/anonymous.

But, looking at other projects where lead devs has suddenly changed the direction of a project without real opposition. Or skilled and well funded devs suddenly join in and take over a project. Is a lesson to be take seriously.

I think that:

- No dev should ever be able to rely on their status/authority. Only the case/code they present should have any validity.

- Open communication and debate of almost everything. Major decisions taken by the few without check'n balance, is by it self a vulnerability.

- Minimize economic bribes or conflict of interest. By ex. dev stakes, futures or options.

But, I'm actually relatively unaware of precisely things are setup now. To prevent corruption of devs or code.
