Replying to Avatar Jacob (Organix Farms)

I’ve been researching the program he uses for his grands and have tried discussing with friends and family. They all think I’m crazy for wanting to homeschool our kids. They fear they’ll lose out on “social time” with their friends. My wife fears they won’t be able to play school ball once they become age.

What points or arguments can I make to express the need for better education over playing a sport with friends?

Asking your wife questions on what both of your goals are for the kids is a place to start. Getting on the same page with her is critical.

There are lots of outside the school system sports programs, and probably other homeschooling families near you that you could link up with

And not just sports! Our kids got involved with music, and most of them play instruments now (sometimes more than one), sing, play in bands....
