I'd add #reticulum into the mix for communication between devices. Keeps things private on the house side and miner can send results back to network for lottery ticket.
Reticulum and Iroh are considerations but need stable Rust libraries. Enough to build in the meantime.
Why not run python script within the rust program? But you right, plenty of work for a foundation

I bet it would easy to retrofit an RV style (ammonia) fridge to run, at least partially, on miner waste heat.

Yes, sort of. Mujina will drive peripherals attached. Aside-rs drives separate devices via the network. Both would be used to regulate power for hashing and all devices/periphs would be pointed to Sv2 stack for shares/work.
