While I agree with the premise, execution is always the hardest part. I’ve known people who composed and recorded music, only to destroy it afterward so no one could steal it, this was while they were working at Big Boys. You can create things of real value, but ultimately the outlet still circles back to society. Maybe I’ve been conditioned to believe that I always need to produce and be a “valuable employee,” which makes it hard for me to fully grasp how this works. Freedom and sovereignty still seem bound by what society considers acceptable.

As you were speaking, it made me think of how the Renaissance came about, and what conditions allowed such great discoveries to flourish during that time.
