Great rip Sean 👊🏻🤘

Geberally agree. It depends a lot on what you spend them on though.

🔥🔥🔥

So finding what is most valuable to you and pursuing it is the highest form of self love? I agree that Bitcoin is the means not the ends which I think is what you are getting at.

Yeah agreed, Bitcoin as the means is well said.

A full circle pun for us Bitcoiners to chew on: Bitcoin is not valuable, intrinsically. Bitcoin helps us to see what is valuable.

Through it we see all material items in our life are falling in price. This tells us that ultimately, our time is what is valuable, and our individuality, our passions, our visions, and our energy.

Letting go of our NGU, fiat framework, dreams enables us to pursue a deeper and more rewarding path of development and enlightenment with our time.

Good stuff!

Just Vlog it

Wow, I'm not really into the vlog hype but this one got me.

Everyone has a unique value in the free market and you find yours by doing what you love. Great vlog.

I think most proponents of hodling is strictly out of regret. There will always be the few that manage to outperform hodling in hindsight, and for that I give much respect.

Spending your bitcoin is not self love. Spending bitcoin to buy time is self love.

Well said, I agree... most jobs I've had give me meaning, purpose, fulfillment, and joy for some amount of time, but at some point the insufficiency of the system (lacking opportunity to grow beyond being the doer of what doesn't want to be done by others) becomes obvious. I also appreciated your definition of Bitcoin as value storage technology.

Welcome to nostr Mr Beast!

Nice vlog Sean. I enjoyed it!

🧡

While I agree with the premise, execution is always the hardest part. I’ve known people who composed and recorded music, only to destroy it afterward so no one could steal it, this was while they were working at Big Boys. You can create things of real value, but ultimately the outlet still circles back to society. Maybe I’ve been conditioned to believe that I always need to produce and be a “valuable employee,” which makes it hard for me to fully grasp how this works. Freedom and sovereignty still seem bound by what society considers acceptable.

As you were speaking, it made me think of how the Renaissance came about, and what conditions allowed such great discoveries to flourish during that time.

It’s not how you spend your bitcoin (or hodl), it’s how you spend your time.

well said and profound

Fuck yea. I think you blew my mind into realizing I want to swallow the second orange pill. My family needs that from me.

Thanks for sharing your insight, and yes, Carpe Dium! Only one life ( or 4000 weeks ; ) I also think each person’s circumstances are unique, and it’s necessary to find a balance between spending to achieve your goals now and saving to achieve future goals. You are a young guy with no family to support ( forgive the assumption- but guessing the same for the travelling surfers too),

when/if that comes into your life, perspective and priorities can really change.
