Yup. Public executions of the right criminals would go a long way to restoring faith in our system. The alternative option is pretty wild (decades in prison, millions in costs to taxpayers etc).
Public executions would be healthy when done to the right people. Imagine the guy who killed Iryna on the subway a few days ago. Society seeing him brought to justice brought swiftly and publicly would be cathartic and a strong move in restoring faith in our systems. The alternative is 20 years in the prison systems, funded by millions of dollars of tax payer money, only to be lethally injected and few hear about it.
When I think of someone being “extreme right” I think of someone who hates government so much that they live off grid and in the woods.
