I know a lot of people believe cycle theory is dead, and either the top is already in, or there won’t be another mania phase ahead.

IMHO, both are just forms of “This time is different” mentality, and whenever I see a consensus forming from both ends, it leads me to think that the most familiar pattern will repeat again, just to prove the most people wrong.

I just told some buddies at work that the plan is simple: “stay humble, stack sats, stay solvent”. The two replies I got were

I think the glock is the best pistol to learn on. Look for classes at your local gun range. They probably will let you rent equipment. Always start with developing the skill and avoid collecting gear.

I have a total of 3 firearms and I've become very good at running and maintaining them.

- EDC: Sig P365XL

- Warbelt/nightstand: Glock 17 MOS Gen 5

- Rifle: Q Honey Badger SD

I don't recommend going deep into the prepper or gun guy scene; it's a mostly a time suck that dilutes your focus elsewhere.

Instead, get just the basics and become dangerously comfortable with them. Depth not breadth. Not here.
