Yeah, it is indeed!! I like grilling them on the open fire. But when we boil them in water they remain more juicy. Then with butter melting on top or using them in deserts ... ayayay 👌🏻 We are still experimenting. Can you suggest a favorite recipe?
I’m having my first small crop of chestnut this year. So fare I concluded that it take some technique to cook them successfully. It worked well to zap them in the microwave oven after a light boil. Peeled chestnuts are a great vessel for animal fat
Man, we ate the chestnuts with boiled eggs and our freshly pressed olive oil with sea salt and black pepper. Insanely good!!
