It’s attributed to Voltaire. But if you use it nowadays "in the wrong context", you are labelled as a neo-Nazi. I think it’s quite telling… and if you use your free speech rights “in the wrong way”, you can literally be thrown into prison.
I have my own ideas about who “they” are, but I have to admit that sometimes defining that group is a bit confusing...
One eccentric dude, David Rockefeller, wrote in his book Memoirs (2003):
“Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure--one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”
He is pretty much saying "one world, one government", but for some weird reason, it's still considered a conspiracy theory...
Anyway, in the end it does not matter who is trying to enslave us as long as we don't comply.
