It’s attributed to Voltaire. But if you use it nowadays "in the wrong context", you are labelled as a neo-Nazi. I think it’s quite telling… and if you use your free speech rights “in the wrong way”, you can literally be thrown into prison.

I have my own ideas about who “they” are, but I have to admit that sometimes defining that group is a bit confusing...

One eccentric dude, David Rockefeller, wrote in his book Memoirs (2003):
