Guess you might have to be the change you want to see... Might take a while

browser tech is down bad

there is no light at the end of the tunnel

thanks Google 👏

fwiw chromium seems to be the least terrible option

I've never tried Chromium, there's a bunch of different implementations no? any particular one you can recommend?

I use ungoogled chromium

Maybe talking about Vanadium, @GrapheneOS's default browser that is a security-hardened fork of Chromium.

Have you tried Brave? It does pretty much everything you listed. I also hear LibreWolf is good, but haven't used it, personally (it's desktop only).

They make it as hard as possible to install. This way they get their open source talking points while forcing everyone into their captured surveillance platform. You gotta use developer tools.

On mac try: 'brew install chromium'

On linux try: `sudo snap install chromium` or similar

On windows try: using a better OS

I hear that let me explore the internet

Dan "the Edger" Wedge. 🤣

I am Brave if you must know as Netscape is no longer

Orion is pretty 🔥

Vivaldi

One can dream…

Have the man in finance fund an open source project.

hahaha

try librewolf

Just tried testing both firefox and librewolf on my system. Firefox - Your browser has a nearly-unique fingerprint.. Librewolf - Partial protection.

My advice would be to find a man in finance

The Mullvad browser, might work. It’s the tor browser, minus the tor part.

Fixed window size to help against fingerprinting and other tor browser gizmos.

Have you tried GNU IceCat?
