I didn’t know seafood was on there, but yes, you’d need a lot of those items with no fruit and veggie items. They just don’t have as high a vitamin and nutrient content as meat, especially red meat. Usually a vegetarian diet is very carb heavy, hence the inflammation. I have yet to meet a vegetarian eating eggs, dairy, and veggies only. And even veggies are mildly inflammatory.

Red meat also has a lot of phosphate, it's important to eat other cuts than just muscle meat (with higher glycine content).

It's not really seafood, I think there's an argument for oysters being okay with some vegetarians as they don't have a central nervous system.

Agree with you the the *default* diet of vegetarians could be much better.

Yes, agreed on not just muscle meats. Get all the cuts, organs, and fat renderings.

Fair enough on the oysters. I guess it depends on why the person is doing it. Usually a hypocritical reasoning anyways, but that’s a separate topic.
