We need more plebs to run their own #nostr relay because it’s easy and it’s the best way to support the network
As far as I know there’s #relay app in #Umbrel and #start9
Any other out easy and of the box solutions?

Teach me how to make relay(can’t code tho) and I do family/mom relay so we can give soft landing for our loved ones but at the same time take them out from the web2 ✊🧡

You can always make a private relay to be used only by your family if that is what you mean
Basically I just want to introduce nostr quite nice and educational place to spend time.
My goal is to weed out some of the most explicit content, war news, propaganda. They pop up on the universe time to time and just would like to save my fam from it.
Then I would like to have content like family, hobbies, cooking, recipes, proper news outlets, pets, memes and then ofc slip some bitcoin for the educational purposes 🧡✊🫂

You can get a used Intel nuc on eBay for like $50, keep 2 flashdrives on you, 1 for important files you don't want to loose, the other a fresh install of your Linux distro. That way you can experiment to your hearts content and reinstall every time things stop working, it works for me.
