the surface is something super simple like using nostr as your contact list. why hasn't your favorite wallet implemented this basic functionality?

Zeus is too slow to load.

i use zeus daily with my own node. it works incredibly fast for me.

really? every time when I launch the app it says "Zeus is starting your node". I counted and it takes 11 seconds to finally show the balance. Wallet of Satoshi takes 1 or 2 seconds

Force close it through phone settings apps and try again because after I let it load then it takes 2 seconds but everyday when I haven't used it for a while the next day same length

You must be using embedded node. Try using your remote lightning node for zeus

To load the wallet? Are you on Tor? Find a way to setup clearnet on a VPN. Lightning fast then.

Why not just use a nostr client as your contact list, and have a nwc enabled wallet linked to it?

We're technically already there.

You can use your Nostr list as contacts in Zeus.

yep! you can! this wasn't a dig at Zeus, this was a dig at wallet's not doing the bare minimum such as this.
