I was surprised that this is not commonly taught at US schools... when I was at high school we went deep into "SPA" (Solon, Platon, Aristotelés), and then other philosophical directions and more recent stuff like Kierkegaard.

I heard that philosophy in Arabic is notably different.

They don't do that much of it in German Gymnasium, either, unless you specialize in ancient Greek.

It's very popular among US homeschoolers, tho.
