That is a little bit oversimplified. The limitations of the physical body, the feedbacks the nerve system gets, all of that is determined and limited by the rest of the body. It is not like a car where you get in and get out. We are one with all of that.

BTW quadriplegic does not need most of the nerves so if I accept your premise there is still so much to remove from the big puppeteer creature that lives inside of us. :-)
