Usually when people call they need something and it’s neither an emergency nor convenient, but they expect you to answer and be available on their schedule. You answer the phone and you have to have an answer right then. Don’t answer, let it go to voicemail, let them text, and you can answer on your own time or not at all. Lol

Let me just stop everything I’m doing out of the blue to answer a phone call for someone who has already allocated the time to chat it up.
I get my message across so much faster than texting, so it actually saves me time 💜

I still have one of those that gets used occasionally
I used to have a Palm Pilot. These were awesome! They had early handwriting recognition but you basically had to learn its alphabet shapes called Graffiti. When you got home you’d sync it and it would back up your notes, download messages and articles for you.
After my park pilot I got my first blackberry. Still have a refurbished one in the basement.
