America is founded on ideals; on ideology. Which makes it easy to see why it is able to hold its cultural identity together despite being comprised of many different races, religions, cultures and traditions.

It’s less clear to me what makes a German a German, or an Englishman an Englishman for example other than shared genetic heritage.

Maybe there’s something about say speaking the German language that causes one to think and experience the world as a German.

This is true and the reason the main attack vector on American society has always been through ideology. The only way to destroy us is to make a majority of the population question the values of the nation’s founders and marginalize them enough to make them want to dismantle it.

It's the same I guess, every country has its own culture either based on some ideology or not, it's a set of things and values. We may not like stereotypes about countries but they usually reflect well the culture of the country, Germans as an example, don't have humor, are extremely methodical, they follow the rules, great at engineering (great cars) and in football 2 things are true, the ball is round and Germany always wins.

I don’t think you can separate culture from genetics in almost any place other than America.

True.

In this case I can recommend a trip to Brazil or Australia, for example.

It is called culture and history, a sets of shared values and social bias. Then people identify with it. It is the same everywhere but americans shared value is entitlement so they think they are better lol

💯😹

The same way you went to school to learn American history how your parents told you stories of your family of your grandparents it’s the same everywhere. I don’t know shit about American history but I do know of where I am from and I am very proud of it, and it ends up shaping a societal fabric of people who where born on the same country. It’s just americans are very loud and like to talk a lot about their society and it seems like it’s the only democratic country in the world with rule of law when it’s not

America is not like the Netherlands. Your country may be a very nice place to live (which I’m sure it is) but America is a different thing entirely.

What ideologies drive America today?

Gold?

And war?

Remember that regardless of whatever words were written in a book, America was founded on the extermination of the original inhabitants in order to occupy the land and the enslavement of another race in order to exploit the resources of that land.

they all look the same. it helps a lot
