The only answer I have for you, friend, is hippies. It was a thing pre-hippies, kinda but hippies made it more mainstream.

The same way religion became a thing. It’s a way for people to make sense of the unknown and unexplainable in human life. I have nothing against spirituality or religion. Believe what you want as long as it doesn’t infringe upon the rights of others.

It was the Hindus.

People not understanding science I suppose?

Not to much. Being I study so many different arts I never got into astrology. It’s such a big subject that not requires alot of time. There might be a point where I do start studying. Right now I remain aware of the moon phases so I can observe and tract changes in the relationships I have with others.

Astronomy and astrology used to be the same discipline, centuries ago. It was always believed that heavenly bodies affect earthly bodies. Around the time of Copernicus and Brahe they began to diverge, IIRC. See Thomas Kuhn, _The Copernican Revolution_ and _The Structure of Scientific Revolutions_, or (perhaps far better), C. S. Lewis _The Discarded Image_. Fascinating topic.

Did anyone use to follow that astrology chick on X? Red hair crazy lady?
