I hope not. he's been transverse/breech the whole time. I'm hoping he'll get with the program and go head down before show time.

If not, donβt be afraid to have someone help you ask nurses to try to turn the baby or help you do motions or positions that could help move him into a better position rather than resort directly to c-section. Even if there arenβt midwives, sometimes nurses know great non-invasive tricks! One saved me from a c-section with a technique even my doula (also a nurse) didnβt even know.
yeah, I looked into it when I had taro. thankfully he went head down and stayed down fairly early on. didn't matter anyway cuz I had 29 hrs of labor after induction at 41 weeks and ended up with an emergency c-section anyway.
with twins, I'm less inclined to do much to turn them because it creates so many more unknowns. One could flip, both could flip, risk of cord knots and during delivery the other could decide to flip after the first one comes out cuz of the extra room and then I'd have to have a breech extraction or a c section anyway.
I'd rather have a scheduled C-section where everything is cool, calm and controlled. I recovered fast from the first one and didn't have any complications despite it being an emergency. Granted it is still major surgery, but I'd rather play it safe and take on the medical risks myself than put them on the babies.
I'm kinda bummed that I might not ever have the experience if delivering vaginally, but as long as the babies are healthy, I could do without.
