My kiddo, 11, cannot stop coding (JavaScript for Minecraft) on his pc. If I donโt force him to stop he could keep doing over 12 hrs ๐คฏTroubling for me as a parent but should i let him?? He is unable to stop what heโs doing! Now heโs skills are amazing butโฆ

Let him maintain the skill, but like anything, he needs breaks and to get outside.
I agree! Sun โ๏ธ is so important! I still drag him outside๐ (sometimes this takes up a few hours of my day just to get him out the door, tho ๐)

Actually, once I got into the zone, I can keep coding for 3 days through literally unstoppable. Focus is a gift, and not for everybody๐

I wish he also enjoys outdoor a bit. I will still make him go outside to get some fresh air at least once or twice a day.

Maybe, letting him participate in hackathon or something to go outside is a good idea?๐
