I don’t get the hype around sports in general…🤷♂️
I only really listen to TTU football. Don’t really care about other schools’.
I totally get listening or even watching some but some people just act nuts over it.
I rarely "watch" TTU football. I like to listen to the game on the radio or streaming a local station from Lubbock. It's more about hearing the two guys calling the game, the band playing all the stuff I listened too during my years as a student then as an employee, the crowd doing particular chants I know well.
It's 3 hours of being back home for me. Even when Tech loses I still get that cozy, homey feel.
