it kind of interesting that the protocol *forces* you to be more decentralized once you start following too many people. you literally *can't* get data from thousands of people from a single place, due to websocket packet sizes and relay limits.

Just give up on the idea of following thousands of people.

I like that your team is building something for nostr that makes sense as per the original nostr blueprints.

Imo outbox and self hosting a relay is the solution!

That’s correct. Even at 183, I only seem to see recent notes from a regular few, and at limits of 40 ‘new notes’ each time I open the client app (primal). There are posts from a bunch of people I follow that rarely show up in my feed

Have you tried another client? Primal is a bit weird as it does not actually connect to relays directly

Had Damus for a bit then moved to Primal.. recommendation?
