I thought it was just btcpay wth a plugin bug?

Not sure what that’s in reference to. This post is just about how much it sucks to have channels force close when on chain fees are high 😂

This post from yesterday

Oh ok yea I saw that. Crazy story if it’s true.

I read your post and had a small panic attack, since I was on a plane and not much I could do if shit was really going down.

What happened?

Nothing to me. Just seeing a lot of posts over the last week or two about high fees, force closes, etc.

I fired mine up about a year ago & then got busy & ignored it. I picked the worst time to decide it needed attention 😂

😂🥲🫂

What’s going on now?

Well, nothing really because now I'm ignoring it like an angry wife. "It's fine"😐😂

No... actually, I have no idea how to effectively manage channels & it seems to be a very expensive time to figure that out.

What kind of channel management are you wanting to achieve? Opening/closing channels? Or rebalancing liquidity?

Well, I'm kind of stuck there too. I would say rebalancing but after the non-custodial wallet conversation you & sovereign welder had a couple weeks ago, I've been debating on closing my public channels & starting fresh with private for a while

Do you need this to be an always-on, always-online Lightning wallet?

No

You thinking a “node in the phone” option? Or a remote node that you connect to via something like Zeus?

Remote. I've frustrated myself enough with "node in the phone" & I have my node at home just sitting there not doing much so I would really like to give it some purpose.

Makes sense 😂
