She went away for a bit to deal with another patient and came back to give him his meds. He then, asked her again for an eye patch…

She asked, “are you sure you don’t mean eye mask?”

And he said, “no I need the one eye”.

I’m thinking the nurse’s confusion probably had something to do with the fact that the surgery was on his leg 🤦‍♀️
