Nostr is actually quite centralized!
Discussion
Okay
You starting a node?
what do you mean?
What client do you use?
Primal. which yes, I'm aware of the cache
What is that you are aware of concerning cache?
I need to do more research and gain a better understanding but from my limited understanding, all content for Primal users is fed through a Primal cache, meaning users don't interact directly with the relays. do you know better?
The word "fed" seems quite accurate.
I posted an explanation of this a few weeks ago that might be useful. The cache does add a “centralised” component to Nostr but likely results in a smoother more consistent experience for Primal users. I personally prefer to use other clients but each client has its own advantages and disadvantages. If you aren’t happy with the experience you are getting with Primal the I’d suggest trying other clients.

Thank you for sharing.
Here are more specific thoughts on the human centralization element on Nostr.
Its all about the relays. Get on a client that you can add relays and tweak the list. Like an amethyst for example. Now you can broadcast your notes to 25 relays.
Thank you! And what exactly does this do?
Im holding down the green icons to show what they are.
depends on how you use it. don’t use caching servers then.
