I was really looking forward to speaking at and attending the Miami Bitcoin conference. I had a lot of great events lined up, but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to attend anymore.

I was excited to announce ack.vc and start telling folks what #[0] and I are up to with ACK Capital (accepting LPs who are interested in getting exposure to early stage bitcoin, Nostr & p2p web/bitcoin adjacent startups.)

However, my mother-in-law was just diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia out of nowhere and she is starting chemotherapy tomorrow.

Everyone’s holding up good so far, but my heart is telling me to stay home.

So I’m going to have to forego the event and make sure I’m there to support my wife & daughter though this emotional time.

If anyone has any suggestions of podcasts or books I can go through to help my wife and daughter process the roller coaster of blood cancer, I’d appreciate some resources that helped you.

I’ll be attending the Canadian Bitcoin Conference coming up next month, and if you’re looking for funding for your startup, feel free to reach out to myself or NVK!

Take care 🫂

im sorry. simply lots of raw (burning) garlic likely to do more good than harm.

Hey friend,

Sorry to hear about your mother in law.

Here's my very best recommendation; low cost, benign, effective. Hard to believe, but too much evidence to deny.

I'm happy to try and answer any questions you may have.🙏😁

Family is priority. Keep up the good work!

Spend as much time together as you can.

I’m so sorry, Brad. All the best to your mother-in-law.

Hey Brad, this is the way. Family always means sacrifice. But in doing so, you grow stronger, and your heart is at peace. Tough to miss the gathering, but the love and the joy of giving will be the reward.

And your presence may tip the balance for your wife’s mom.

Best decision ever.

Hey Brad, I'm sorry to hear.

For what it's worth, my best friend got leukemia 2 years ago, and was able to fully recover. Although theres different types, I learned that the recovery rate for most of them is pretty high nowadays. It will be a tough year for your family, but hopefully everything will be ok in the end.

Best wishes

Praying for your family Brad.

Wishing your M-in-law a strong recovery and a wise move to be there at home. All the best

sending all the positive thoughts. It’s good to follow your heard.
