I was really looking forward to speaking at and attending the Miami Bitcoin conference. I had a lot of great events lined up, but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to attend anymore.
I was excited to announce ack.vc and start telling folks what #[0] and I are up to with ACK Capital (accepting LPs who are interested in getting exposure to early stage bitcoin, Nostr & p2p web/bitcoin adjacent startups.)
However, my mother-in-law was just diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia out of nowhere and she is starting chemotherapy tomorrow.
Everyone’s holding up good so far, but my heart is telling me to stay home.
So I’m going to have to forego the event and make sure I’m there to support my wife & daughter though this emotional time.
If anyone has any suggestions of podcasts or books I can go through to help my wife and daughter process the roller coaster of blood cancer, I’d appreciate some resources that helped you.
