This is the letter opener i made for my gf for Christmas! Its hand forged with a twisted integral bolster. The handle is hidden tang poplar that i shaped and etched myself!

😆 that what a lot of people have said! I shaped it to slide on a table and keep hands out of the way, i just have big hands!
It's beautiful. I'm pretty sure I saw a similar one in the game Clue. It was in the den being used by the butler.
