HELP!!

The nostr documentary can go two ways. Full hardcore for people who are on nostr and another dumbed down version for normies.

This stresses me out right now 🤯

Any thoughts??

well, obviously the answer is both

both

but mostly dumbed down

most ppl are v busy with other stuff, not notes

Depends on what you want to accomplish with the documentary! Who are you trying to attract to the space? What do you want people’s (likely) first exposure to be about? Nostr peeps are probably going to watch it either way - I definitely will! 💜

Dumbed down and a director’s cut for the hardcore plebs.

Por que no los dos? 😜

Appeal to the normie masses.

The hardcore watched it all live

The question would be: what is your goal with making this documentary?

Is it to get awarenes among the general public about Nostr or is it to make a current overview of what is there now on Nostr to show Nostriches?

The answer to this will also your question. 😉

Straight up propaganda for normies.

Can you make it progressively more hardcore?

Start slow, normie, from afar almost, take us deeper and deeper, end 100% purple pill.

Well do you want it to be welcoming to new people? I guess that is the goal as those who are already here are already here.

Leave the normies alone. Do we really need them? I like that I don’t have to scroll through hundreds of notes to find one with signs of intelligence. Smart people need a place of our own, too, where we don’t have to whisper.

Echo chambers are dangerous plus we won’t be onboarding too many precoiners here

Actually, people are more interested in social media than the state of their money. I’ve gotten several people on nostr and a WoS a and zap them. They become nostriches and bitcoiners, at the same time.

#nostr is the simplest open protocol that is able to create a censorship-resistent global "social" network once and for ALL 🫂

Nostr is the end game. They Mayan Calendar was only off by three years…

Go hardcore. I think we all stand for stuff that is really well made and will last the test of time. The people who’s heads it goes over now will realize they need to do the work.

Suggestion: watch some documentaries about the dot com boom in the late nineties and see what stood the test of time.

Could you clarify
