Hi

Thank you for your comments and questions!

First of all, it is very important to know that many people become vegan for ethical reasons, to reduce animal suffering in this world. Many of these people have previously eaten animal products, just like you, and are not nutrition experts. They just want to eat "normally", but without animal suffering. That does not mean that they eat healthier.

If you change your diet, you should educate yourself on how to live healthily. But that is not a priority for everyone...unfortunately.

Vegan healthy food is not expensive! The only expensive products are the so-called "substitute products". These are mostly very processed foods that are not necessarily healthy, but can simplify everyday life and can replace the foods that are now being avoided. Such as vegan sausage, vegan dried meat, vegan fish sticks, vegan cheese, etc.

But if you eat a healthy vegan diet, none of these things actually belong on the menu. But: vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds, kernels and, if you eat them, grains, pseudo-grains and some cold pressed oils.

And such a diet is not expensive, but cheaper, richer in nutrients and healthier.

Superfoods are a trend, yes! But they have to be exotic... Superfoods are also seasonal vegetables, dates, berries, sprouts, microgreens, fresh juices, etc. Don't let that put you off.

And yes, a lot of things in the supermarket or restaurant that are labeled as vegan are not vegan after all. Unfortunately, many people don't seem to know and that's really tedious. Honey is not vegan. Eggs aren't vegan either, of course, etc...

But deaths only occur because the declaration is wrong and the person who ate it apparently had an allergy to one of the ingredients. But that can also happen if sesame or mustard is not declared and someone is allergic to it and it had traces in it...

Hope this helps 🤗
