ironically again, only jerusalem post mentioned that the attack occur in hawara while nearly all other media mentioned it occur in tulkarm. was it to justify the invasion of hawara?

I don’t know. In any case, IDF intervention in Hawara seems to have been response to the shooting. Plus there was another shooting, which Hamas admitted was done by its two members.

What I’m just trying to understand how did you come to a conclusion that 7 October massacre was organised overnight by Hamas and two shootings, one of which Hamas took responsibility for, constituted “violation of ceasefire by Israel”.

i have to go for my lectures so here is a quick wrap up of our last discussion:

1. the shooting occur in tulkarm, not hawara. the cities are quite far apart. (1)

2. Even with regular perimeter standard post shooting, the surveillance perimeter doesnt make sense. apart from the fact that tulkarm was the major city, they only close a distant palestinian city, not the closer israelu ones.

3. IDF made inconsistent statement about their involvement. in the one as you mentioned above and in several other statements it said its army was the one who raids the huwara vity (2) while in others it said it was done by other parties (3)

4. I am actually searching for a statement from hamas saying the two gunmen whete theirs. mind sharing that? the news was widely circulated but the actual statement doesnt seemed to exist.

5. Hamas is the de facto government of gaza. having military preparedness is uncommon. even the USA has ever existing presence in china waters.

6. the 6th october incident was a tipping point. as you can see from (4) and (5) tere were numerous killing already occur in 2023, higher than the previous years. lookinh even further, the killing has always occurred beyond 15 years ago (6)
